Goodbye Winter

Sadly winter is leaving here in Ontario. Recently me and the rest of the family went out to the bush and had a fire and played.

When got to the bush we found a moose antler that came from a 14 year old moose!

I was still digging out the antler then and when we got that much dug out I new it was 9 years old or older.

After dad found the antler and I dug the antler out me and Emma when exploring in the bush and I seen 3 squirrels and 2 chipmunks. Not too long after that I seen a white Rabbit then I went exploring more than I found moose turds a calf’s yesterday washroom break the average moose calves turds are about 1 inch long and 1 inch wide, the average cow moose turd is a inch and a half wide and long, also the average Bull moose turd is 2 inches. Now I have one antler plus a whole set of antlers.

Then on the way back home to do chores I got to go GT-ing, GT-ing is when mom, dad or someone else pulls a GT behind the snowmobile and since the snow was sticky the snow was flying of the snowmobiles track and into my four wheeling goggles. Once we were going up a hill then when mom was going to descend the hill she gunned it and the GT slipped right out of my hands!

Then after mom was going in circles very fast and my goggles got so full of snow I could not see then she finally got me of the GT after 30 minutes and this wipeout was my first of the year and the GT sliding out of my hand counts as me getting off, not wiping out or falling of so that is why it did not count.

As winter continues to melt the snow our driveway is getting very icy and we have a mini lake in the backyard.

That same day I revealed the name of our new baby goat. Her name is….. Drum roll please ….. Daisy!!! I really liked the name, it’s a keeper thank you Sarah and Kristin the next kid/baby goat that is a girl will be named Stella!

So that’s the end of this post!

First Lambs Of The Year!!!

Last day we had the first three lambs of the year!!!

Now I would of posted last day but we were very busy last day and we wanted to wait a day just incase one of them didn’t survive the night but they did so I can write about them!

Before I start writing about them here is a picture of all three of them!

Now these three are triplets!

There mother is this doe in the picture below.

We bought this doe this summer

This is this moma’s was bread early because she had a bad foot a while ago but she is doing very good now. This is this Moma’s first time lambing.

Now here is a picture of the threes Daddy Rambo.

This picture was taken when Rambo was with Max and Benji the Guard Dogs in training before there was space in the main pen.

The black lambs are both males and the white one is a female.

The two black ones are almost just like their mom except there males and the patterns on there head are different. Now the little white one is a female she is almost like her dad Rambo the only difference is that she is a girls and the pattern on her neck is different.

The lamb standing in the picture above was the first lamb born then it was the white one witch I was there to see mom give birth to and the little black one laying with the white lamb was born last.

That’s it on the first three Lambs and animals born on the farm this year!

RPC ENG4 L155 Farm Stories

Hello today I will write about farm stories from my childhood and other farm stories.

The way I said my first word…

Waaaaaaay back when I was two or one years old I used to loooooooove riding with my dad in the tractor and I’d spend a lot of time playing in the garden and one day and I got full of mud ( when I was a baby I spend a lot of time playing in the mud) I fertilized the drave way and my dippers and my mom brought me inside to change dippers. mean while mom changing my dippers and dad was passing bye with the tractor and then I seen the tractor thru the window and then I said: Trawctor! So that’s how I said my first word!

Pee And A Half

So when I was five I was helping the hired hands pix pees once and anyways instead of piking the pees and putting them in the pin I would eat them and put the shell in the bin. So one day in June 2013 I was picking pees with one of the hired hands who was also babysitting me while my parents were gone to town to get something for the four-wheeler and anyways my bin was full of pee shell and not pees in their shells so as always I’d eat them and then I went to say thank you to the hired hand for babysitting me and my parents asked me to offer her a pee so I went ahead and gave her a half eaten pee! The end!

Party Time!

A long time ago my mom needed to go on a conference call for something so she put me down for my nap an hour early and when I was young I had a schedule and if it got messed up id get grumpy or id refuse to do whatever it was. So I crawled out of the semi bed and climbed on to the changing table and got into the baby powder and I started shaking it and my mom had forgot to close it so then 2 hours later there was baby powder all over the room and I had made a baby powder castel. The end!

Here are some pics from baby years and grade 1 and 2. there are also pics of my sisters in here.

That’s it!

RPC ENG4 L150 The Best Goat Breeds

Hello today I will talk about the best Goat Breeds.

Now my list for best meat goat breeds:

  1. Boer.
  2. Spanish
  3. Kikko
  4. Myotonic / Myotonic Fainting Goat.
  5. Rangeland
  6. Kalahari
  7. Nubian
  8. Verata
  9. Black Bengal

Now the reason for Myotonic Myotonic Goats should be number one on my list but there are two reasons why they’re not the best: Best known as the Fainting Goat the Myotonic has two down sides to it’s meat here are the reasons: 1. The Faiting. 2. takes longer to grow.

So now my list for dairy breeds:

  1. Saanen
  2. Nubian Nubians are both a meat and dairy breed.
  3. La mancha
  4. Alpine
  5. Toggenburg
  6. Nigarian Dwarf
  7. Oberhasli
  8. Sable
  9. Guernsey

Now the reason Nigarian dwarf is there on the list is because it too is a meat and dairy breed but since it is sooooooooo small it is not very good meat.

Now for my Cuteness rankings

  1. Boer
  2. Pygmy
  3. Nigerian Dwarf
  4. Myotonic Fainting goat
  5. kikko
  6. black bengal
  7. la mancha
  8. Toggenburg
  9. Nubian

That’s it!
