RPC English 5 Lesson 125

Hello! here is what mrs.FIsh wants me to do today: Writing Assignment: Write a 3 paragraph essay on the following topic: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?

If I had to live anywhere in the world it would be rather Alberta or southern Ontario.

Why Alberta? I’d chose to live in Alberta because there is a lot of wildlife and farming land and two NHL arenas. Now because it does not snow as much in Alberta than Ontario I therefore would not live there unless living in southern Ontario does not work out.

Why Southern Ontario? In Southern Ontario there is more farmland unlike where I currently live in Northern Ontario.By living in Southern Ontario I will be closer than I currently am to three NHL cities Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. There is not as much wildlife in SOuthern Ontario then Alberta which is not the end of the world but at least there is more farmland. In southern Ontario it does not snow as much as in Northern Ontario but it does snow more than at Alberta, and most of my dad’s side of the family lives in southern Ontario like my Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Jerry, Aunt Sandra Nick and Cole, Uncle Jeff, the other Aunt Sandra, Blake, and Max, Aunt Atje, and Uncle Charlie and many more I just listed the ones I could think of. So there for Southern Ontario is my ideal place to live.

Here is a few of Uncle Jerry’s tractors.

Uncle Jerry’s Massey Ferguson 7619
Uncle Jerry’s Sprayer a CASE IH 4420
Nick’s CASE IH STX480
Uncle Jerry’s Versatile 900 he sold back in March
Uncle Jerry’s CASE IH Axial Flow 9240 wich back from 2009 to 2013 was the biggest combine they made then in 2014 it became the 9230.
Nick’s CASE IH STX480 on a tile plow.
Uncle Jerry’s Challenger MT something.

And that is it Ladies and Gentlemen!

RPC English 5 Lesson 120

Hello! Here is what mrs.FIsh has me doing today:

Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: What is your favorite kind of animal and why?

So here is the work:

Well of course my favorite animal is goats! I make money off of raising goats! And my youtube channel name is Jake the goat kid! although I have a cow as the profile picture, but that does not matter.

Goats are my most favorite animal because: they grow horns, there not big like a cow, they are funny, there good friends ( not as good as a dog from that side of the perspective), you can potty train them like a cat if you really want a house goat, goats are also a really important part of both Canada and the united states histories as on both trips to find these two lands Christopher Columbus brought goats with him on his trip!

When we used to have a dairy goat farm we had a lot of baby goats and you could almost say the barn was flooded with baby goats sometimes!

Did you know a baby goat is called a kid?

I based my meat goat business off of my parents dairy goat business once we were getting back into beef and lamb.

And that’s it hope you enjoyed!

RPC ENglish 5 Lesson 110

Hello! Here is what msr.Fish wants me to do:

Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: What is the funniest or silliest thing that has ever happened to you?

Here is my work:

The funniest thing that has ever happened to me is my parents telling me that they were gonna homeschool me. First of all at first I thought it was a joke because they had a little smirk on their face. And I thought they were joking. And then I thought I would not enjoy it at all but look at me now.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to RPC I have learned way more then what I would’ve learned from kindergarten to 12th grade if I was going to public school. I have made more real friends with RPC than I did at public school although I don’t even know what 50% of my RPC friends faces look like!

Isn’t that incredible!

What I meant by real friends is I called them my friends back at school but they didn’t treat me well unlike my RPC friends.

And that’s the end!

RPC English 5 Lesson 100

Hello! Here is what i have to do from mrs.Fish:

Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: If you could go back in time, where would you go?

I’d go back in time to 1892 because that is the year the first tractor was invented. And I would help the man named John Froelich design it and bring blueprints on how to make a three point hitch, PTO, and how to make hydraulics. I’d aso teach him how to be safe around PTO equipment as it is very dangerous. A long time ago when I was not born our neighbors used there PTO run forage harvester to sharpen haybine blades to cut hay then one they as they were doing that our neighbors dad got his hand caught in the forage harvester…. So the sun had to get a flame torch to melt the PTO shaft before it took his whole arm or worse. The reason he could not turn of the PTO straight on the tractor is because if he did it would take a minute to slow down and turn of which is enough time to take his dad’s arm. Once the shaft was meled apart the son got his dad’s hand out and his skin was ruffled up and some of it was missing but the worst part was… He lost two of his fingers. But luckily he lived a long life after that sadly he passed away a few years ago so I never really met him.

I’d also show John how to make implements like Discbines and seed drills to speed up work. I’d then show him how to make combines to speed up harvest.

Here is another PTO accident story my pepere told me. Once a man close to where he live was crossing over a PTO while the PTO was in action and his pants got caught and well he broke his shoulder and dinky. Ouch.

So the reason I am telling you guys these stories is because being a farmer is very dangerous and if you ever want to be a Farmer you have to be very careful and never get off your tractor while the PTO is running. Or don’t do anything like that unless you have have someone supervising you. The story about my neighbour is a unique story because these days we have tools that are safe and made for sharpening blades but always be very careful with blades.

Il give two more stories that happened in my family. Once while my Uncle Jerry was fixing his combine head it dropped and luckily he only broke his leg pretty bad but it could of been worse. I heard on the news once a mans legs got paralyzed and his brother was killed while fixing a combine head.

Once my Pepere was working on his dad’s farm and he did not put the park brake on his tractor and so it rolled down the hill and into the bush luckily there was a few scratches and no one was hurt. The funny part of this story is his dad never figured it out and he still doesn’t know about it today!

If you want to have cats or dogs or both out and about on your farm you should teech them to stay away from all vehicles when they are running beacause this summer dad ran over my cat Willow I don’t think you will remember her but she was 7 years old so at least she lived a long life.

At Least Speels her most recent kitten from last spring will continue her legacy. Speels means playful in Dutch.

Once when I used to go to public school I accidentally stabbed myself with a pencil lucky it was one of does newer pencils that use something different than lead. But the tip of that pencil is still stuck right under my pinky finger today. You can’t really see unless your in person know because the skin has really grown over the piece of pencil know.

And that’s why you must be careful on the farm and even just writing with a pencil!

And this is the end for this essay!

RPC english 5 Lesson 90

Hello! As a job from Mrs.Fish I am going to do the following:

Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: What do you think would be a really cool invention?

So here is my final draft!

really cool invention would be a shrinking machine so then we could build 1/64 scale tractors as toys in normal scale then in 1/64 scale we could buy almost any tractor for ten dollars! But if you had to make a living off of 1/64 scale farming to get one bushel of soybeans you’d need about 1 million acres in 1/64 scale or something like that or you grow a really high volume of crops in one field or you grow very valuable or expensive crops.

With a shrinking machine humans would be able to see higher details on worms, ants, and all sorts of little things that are hard to observe! And while you’re not cutting lawn you could shrink down and your backyard could be a jungle! Or you could make sand castles at normal scale then shrink down to whatever scale you made your sand castle at and then you could play in it, or even live in it!

Another benefit would be the government would take less land away from farmers and etc. So then instead of taking 200 acres to make a 2,000 population down you could take one acre and have even more people living in it! but of course you would put a fence around so people that are in normal scale or vehicles don’t run your home and family over.

One more benefit is that you could build a lego house and live in it!

What I find is one of the top three benefits is that the homeless will be able to afford mini houses so they can live in them!

Another great benefit would be if we made mini cars it would make less pollution and the government would not have to cut your into two chunks 50 feet apart.

And one last fun benefit is when you’re typing on a computer you can scale down and jump on the keys and then you’d get schoolwork done and have fun like if you were on a trampoline at the same time!

RPC ENG 5 L80

Hello! Here is my job for today from MSR.Fish!

Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: What is your favorite way to learn and do schoolwork?

So here it is:

My most favorite way to do schoolwork would be when I am writing essays and my music is cranked up really loud. Because I love my music especially when it’s one of most favorite songs. I also enjoy writing my essays because I enjoy typing because it’s sort of like exercise for my fingers for when I’m doing math because I have to write with a pencil. Math is my least favorite subject thought. Another reason I enjoy doing schoolwork with music on is because for some reason it makes me concentrate better which is sort of weird. But I find doing the essays is much easier than the rest of the work. I also like doing my schoolwork with something or someone working or just sitting beside me like when the cat jumps on my lap to come get some attention or when the dogs come to sit besides me when there is a thunderstorm or sometimes they too are just looking for attention. I also enjoy it when my sisters work besides me. Sometimes we tease each other about our spelling mistakes or we get distracted and start arm wrestling but the armwrestling never slowed us down.

Another way I enjoy doing my schoolwork is when I do it in front of the fire place during the winter. Or just doing schoolwork outside.

But my most favorite part of RPC is that I get to interact with other students which I find is fun. I remember once when I was doing schoolwork towards the starting of summer vacation there was a horse that had got out and was walking along the highway which is the road our home is on. Then me and dad took the quad along the highway until we were out of our property and walked to catch the horse yet we did not. The our neighbor Pete just happened to be going by and sometimes people call him a horse whisperer or tractor Pete. Then Pete got the horse and brought it too our place and we tied it with a rope to an old fence post then we called to owner because it was one of my school buddies grandpa’s horse so then they came to get it. I’m not sure what gender the horse was. My sister olivia is the family horse fan and she was being homeschooled she would of been able to see the horse! But it’s her problem she did not want to be homeschooled then! Now she thought.

I also doing my schoolwork in the tractor when dad is planting, cutting or bailing hay. I also enjoy doing schoolwork in the truck when were going on trips like to get our ram Dodge.

Another thing I like about going on trips is I get to see a lot of cool tractors like this Deutz D62-07!

So that’s it! Hope you enjoyed!
