Hello! This week in science I learned some basic sketching stuff like shading and accuracy. I watched five videos on that subject then I also learned about making 3d objects like a cup or a house. I also learned how drawing can be expensive and you need all of these things that can be expensive like a modeling clay eraser is a little weird to me. There is even plastic erasers how do they even work? There also all of these different tools that don’t make sense to me drawing is way more complicated than I remember it being That’s my summary for this lesson.

History 4 Lesson 30
Hello! Today’s lesson Mr.Livingston assigned me to do is this: the compass didn’t have the same effect in China that it did in Europe almost immediately. How were the two cultures different, and how did that influence the way the two different civilizations used the compass?
The reason the compass got very popular quicker in Europe than China is because the Chinese had already been using them for about 200 years. So then the Chinese were able to travel almost anywhere any time in the season and then when the European discovered the Compass they started using it. Thanks to the Compass Christopher Columbus was able to find North America, South America, and Central America.
My favorite invention from these five essays was the Aqueduct because I find it cool making structures to direct water somewhere and it’s cool how I do sort ov the same thing when I dig trenches for water to run around in at the sand pit here is a lego model of the Aquaduct.

And that’s it hope you enjoyed!

My Gerbil Observations
for the past 30 days I have been spending 20 or 10 minutes every schoolwork day observing my gerbil. Here is a pie chart of the percentage of stuff it does.

The gerbil is nocturnal so it is not as active during the day.
So that is it for my Gerbil observations!
I’m all done Science 4!
So the last five days I learned about making electricity free elevators, models of things like planes cars, etc.
I’ll never forget this course!
https://www.facebook.com/125901482142981/posts/180983153301480?sfns=mo
So what was very interesting about these last five days of science 4 was I never realized how close I was to finsihing the course, and in grade five science I’ll be making a movie, photography, stories, meals and even a rocket!
So at science this week I finally realized how complicated it is to build an elevator I always thought oh this is easy just tie a rope to a hook and tie the other end to a pulley but no no no it’s way more complicated than that… First of all I need a way to make sure my passengers or objects I put on wont fall of. Then I have to make sure my rope is very strong and stable after that I need to figure out a way to lift the elevator cart.
So when I was listening to the modeling videos I never realized that a lot of things I like to do include modeling like building lego’s, playing minecraft, and etc. Here is a picture of a model of a Saloon I made.
So that’s all you’ll here about science 4 now!
