RPC English 5 Lesson 170

Howdy! Here’s my job:

Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: If you could do one thing to make the world a better place, what would you do?

So here you go!

I’d set the world free from the government because: When our founding fathers created the government they did not intend it to make restrictions on us, tell us to wear things, or to keep us from going to other countries. The founding fathers made the government to protect us from criminals.

A lot of laws are ridiculous, but road laws like no alcohol while driving on roads and pulling over for a firetruck or police car, are all good ones but when the government started creating rules like all farm equipment must know have def fuel instead of diesel “to prevent pollution” but wait a minute…. Tractors use more def fuel than diesel! And with def fuel your tractor needs to regenerate which takes an hour which means you could of been done your field an hour sooner. And that’s one of the reasons farmers are switching back to older tractors.

When the government says we’re all in this together health officials like doctor Fucci and government bureaucrats must have cut their 100,000$ wages cut down because we’re all in this together wright? When the government says where a mask what they really mean his: Wear a mask so it scares you and terrorizes toddlers and makes you sick. There is no scientific proof that masks work. The government is manipulating with us this has to stop. Has anyone else noticed that ever since Joe Biden has been at the White House that all democratic states have been opening up? Once again their trying to make Biden look good and Trump bad. But the truth is the one is just as bad as the other.

You’d think that California governor Gavin Newsom would follow Ron desantis example in Florida right? California is technically the most lockdown state and has the youngest US population and ”way more people are dying” but yet you go to Florida who as the most senior citizens than any other state and the have the least deaths.

And when there is a so called “covid death” most of the time it was someone who had covid and died in a motorcycle accident for example. And more than half the time covid tests are false! Wake up America!

Now here are some more stupid government so called “statistics” So over here it is winter and in Australia it’s summer, and there in full lockdown and they have no covid but once again wait a minute as it is summer over there and it’s warm! And of course when it’s cold outside you’ll get a cough it’s part of nature it’s been that way for thousands of years!

Now let’s address another issue. Many years ago to buy a pig it only cost 6 dollars and now today everyone wonders why everything is so expensive. Well when the government prints money the value of the dollar goes down because there are more around which makes it worth less because there is more. And the government is printing money all the time. Although the founding fathers did make it so the government controlled money they did not say they could print trillions and trillions of dollars. The one cent is gone know what’s next the five cents?

And I’d like to end today’s blog post with this: stop letting the government manipulate you.

The History Of Articulated Tractors

Howdy! Here is a french assignment I translated.

A four-wheel drive tractor is a tractor that rolls independently on each wheel.

An articulated tractor is a four-wheel drive tractor whose center contains an articulation that joins the front and rear of the tractor, giving it better traction and more flexibility to move.

Now I will show you a brief history of the evolution of articulated tractors.

In 1920 Massey Harris purchased Wallis Tractors to create the first 4WD tractor. Wallis Tractors was founded by Henry Wallis the son-in-law of Jérôme Case the creator of J.I. CASE. Wallis built tractors for his stepfather until Massey Harris bought his company to build the first four-wheel drive tractor. The first Massey Harris 4WD was the GP 15/22 built from 1930 to 1936.

After that, crawler tractors were created in 1920. For example, here is a John Deere MC. The tracks help to gain traction in sandy and loose soils.

Then in 1948 the first 4 wheel drive articulated tractor was built by two men named Herbert and Arthur Walton.

https://www.farmshow.com/a_article.php?aid=12492 10 years later, in 1958, the Steiger brothers created their first articulated tractor, the Steiger # 1.

In 1966 Peter Pakosh and Roy Robinson created their first tractor, the Versatile D100.

In 1977 the Big Bud 747 was built and became the world’s largest tractor.

Big Bud 747

In 1978 the first International 2 + 2 came into life and was one of the funniest tractors of all time because of its long nose. But it was designed that way, for good reason.

Big, Bad and Ugly: 1980 IH 3788 2+2 - Diesel World

The reason is that the cabinet is behind because it gives the driver a better view of what he is doing.

In 1988, CASE IH purchased Steiger to build articulated tractors which were called CASE IH Steiger. The first articulated tractor to have tracks was the CASE IH Steiger Quadtrac.

For over 20 years, @caseih has led and perfected track ...

Here is a list of all the tractor brands I can think of that made articulated tractors.

RPC English 5 Lesson 160

Howdy! Here is what mrs.Fish wants me to do:Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: What is something that you would like to learn how to do?

One thing I’d like to learn is drive the combine because how in the world can I become worlds biggest cash crop farmer if I don’t know how to drive a combine so this year I hope I can harvest without dad neading to ride with me in the combine.

Althought by the time I have my own farm I probably will have a newer combine it’s still good to learn how. But learning how to drive the combine requires a lot of time riding with someone who is experienced. That’s what dad did with grandpa so that what I’m going to do!

Driving a combine can also be very dangerous as if you pick up a rock it could flying and destroy a window and hurt you and the combine could catch on fire. Here is a video of a farmer in Saskatchewan who had a combine fire and explains his perspective of how it happened and watch the combine actually burn down

Mike Mitchel YouTube

And that is it hope you enjoyed the video I watch this guy from time to time with my spare time and the size of their farm is crazy! But mine is going to have to be more than 65 million acres to be able to have worlds largest farm.

RPC English 5 Lesson 150

Hello! Here is what mrs.Fish has me doing today:

Writing Assignment: Write a draft of your essay on the following topic: What is the coolest-looking building in your city? What do you like most about it?

The nearest city to us is an three quarters of an hour away so I don’t know much but my favorite building would be the Toyota dealer as that’s probably one of my most visited spots in North Bay. The reason I like it so much is because their shop is so clean and organized compared to our shop and all of our non farm vehicles are Toyota’s. Our oldest one is my dad’s first Toyota a 2004 Tundra V8 that he bought brand new, then our new truck is a Toyota Tundra V8 2018, than we have a 2019 RAV4. I normally drive the old truck around the farm when were moving fence and I hope someday it will be my truck. They have been ten years at their current location as of 2011 and the thirty years before that they had their dealership where the north bay Mitsubishi dealer currently is. My favorite part about their building is so big, you could fit a CASE IH Steiger 620 Quadtrac in there! And one of those are about 10 ft tall and 20 wide! My favorite part about the people that work there is they are very nice to us. Although a long time ago mom had some bad experience with one of the salesmen.

NORTH BAY TOYOTA OPENS NEW DEALERSHIP FACILITY | Toyota Canada

And the best part about this dealer is that it’s right beside a Twigs! Which inspired me to like smoothies. And thanks to science grade 5 I was able to make my own version of their Peanut Butter Banana smoothie!

And that is it ladies and gentlemen!

Cover Crops

Howdy! Here is another french assignment I translated into english:

The origin of cover crops goes back a very long time to the time of the Egyptians, when they planted cover crops to prevent soil erosion and to keep water in the soil longer. Today, many farmers still use this practice for the same reasons.

Cover crops are a mixture of multiple plants such as sorghum, millet, sun hemp, soybeans, buckwheat, and many other plants. Here are some ideas for mixtures:

  1. Sorghum, millet, soybeans, buckwheat, sunflower, and flax.
  2. flax, sorghum, sun hemp, buckwheat, and sunflower.
  3. Tillage radish, vech, millet, sorghum, sunflower, and soybeans.

Last year Dad and I planted mix # 2 and cut it for forage. Here are some cover crop pictures and a little video of dad cutting the forage.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is img_79161-1.jpg
This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is img_79861.jpg

Sometimes you can use plants like corn and when it gets a foot or two tall, you can plant wheat in the middle of the rows. Another method of using cover crops is to plant a crop early in the year, and when that crop is a foot or two tall, you can plant wheat in it to give the soil better yield. As you can see in the picture below, the tractor is pacting the cover crops and planting the wheat or etc.

You can also graze animals in the covered plants. Our cows love to graze in our cover crop fields.

RPC Science 5 Lesson 165

Hello! Today was my first five lessons of my last semester in grade five science. Lately I have been doing only math to get ahead and math does not require a blog post so I have not been to active lately.

Anyways in science today I wrote the starting of a script for a mini movie that I may turn into a series called Toy wars: the attack of the organising monster. I got this idea after taking some video of my 1/64 scale tractor exploding using one of Olivia’s toys. (Olivia’s blog: https://livylblog.wordpress.com/ ).

Anyways I will get one or two clips on at the end of the post.

I also learned that I have greatly underestimated the work scriptwriters do as I used to think they were just a bunch of kids my age that had nothing better to do so someone hires them to write a random story in return for some candy or a video game. But I was wrong script writers are grown adults that went to collage to learn this stuff and know that I’m doing it I respect them much more!

And here’s the video I promised

And that is it over and out!

No-Till

Hello! This is a french assignment I translated into english about No-Till.

No-till is when you won’t till the soil to plant your seeds. By breaking up the soil, the carbon is exposed to the air, and becomes part of the air, making it difficult for animals and people to breathe. No-till farming is going to help reduce global pollution more than electric cars, because when a farmer tills the soil, all the carbon comes out into the air. https://www.netflix.com/ca/title/81321999

And that’s why instead of creating expensive electric cars, encourage local farmers to start no-till farming. There are special seed drills or planters made so you don’t need to till and there are No-Till Seeders that will allow you to plant seeds sooner! There is also a way to get the carbon back into the soil by planting cover crops. Some of these plants are commonly mix together, like sorghum and sun hemp or other plants. Maybe I’ll do another blog on this some other time.

No-till also increases the yield of the plants because the water does not evaporate so easily and there are more microorganisms which supply the plant with what it needs.

Bringing No-Till To The Palouse | 2011-11-01 | No-Till Farmer
Park your plow: 5 tips for the no-till-curious | Corn and ...

In the picture above, planting a new crop into an older one like in the first photo of wheat and in the second photo of hay can also increase the yield by a lot and make the soil very rich in microorganisms. also plays a very important role in the health of your plants.

Worms eat the residue and makes fertilizer for your plants with its poop. The more earthworms you have in your fields, the healthier your plants will be and the more fish you will be able to catch!

Fall is Big Fish Time! - Jax Beach Surf Fishing

Also by doing No-Till you need less big equipment and this means more money in your bank! The only time it’s okay to till is when the soil is too bumpy or the soil is too compacted. If you No-Till you will have more time for your family!

Tillage Practices Have A Direct Correlation To Soil Health ...

Check out these few other picture of these tractors planting with No-Till drills and planters and tractors plowing, and tell me which pictures of the soil looks most alive in.

Hello! Here is next thing I shall do for mrs.Fish today:

Writing Assignment: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

So here is my work!

The best advice ive ever received is to wait until after christmas.

Every year before christmas there’s always something I want that no one wants to get me before christmas. And since I have a goat business I said to mom I could pay with my own money. Then she told me to wait until after christmas because all the stores will panic and scramble to get new toys into their stores so everything will be on a even bigger sale the Black Friday or Cyber monday.

For example this year I wanted to get the LEGO Claas Xerion 5000 because it’s a remote control LEGO tractor and once I got bored of it I could use the pieces to make my own models. And I know no one is going to get it for me because it cost 450 Canadian dollars. and probably after the new years it will be worth 250 Canadian dollars because the stores that have this set will be trying to get new sets in.

Here is a picture of the set I’m talking about.
