I’m Proud To Say….

That I have officially bought my first tractors! My Farmall SW4 that I am going to restore and my W4 that I’ll use for parts!

Here is some pictures of them!

My Farmall SW4 is so old that it has a belt! Before PTO’s where invented the used leather belts to do task that most PTO’s would do today. My SW4 also has a PTO so that probably means it was manufactured during the first few years of PTO and through the last few years a Belts.

That’s it!

RPC History 5 Lesson 115

Hello! Here is what Mr.Livingston wanted me to do today: Summarize each of the inventions you studied this week and how they impacted history. Also, explain the most interesting thing you learned this week, and why.

I learned about the mercury barometer, the vacuum pump, pendulum clock and Robert Boyle.

The mercury barometer. The mercury barometer was invented around 17th century in Pisa, Italy. The creator of the mercury barometer Evangelista Torricelli, was Galileo Galilei’s apprentice the year before he died. The air from the atmosphere lets out Mercury into a bowl the more mercury in the bowl the more atmosphere. It was important so that scientist and forecaster’s can tell if a major natural disaster is coming.

The vacuum pump. Otto Von Guericke invented the vacuum pump around the 17th century somewhere in Greece. The Vacuum pump removes air and liquid from a place and move it to somewhere else. The Vacuum pump is important because it removes water from mines so miners don’t drown.

Around the 17th century Christiaan Huygens invented the pendulum clock in the Netherlands. The pendulum clock was so important back in it’s day because it was the most accurate clock around in it’s time. The pendulum clock use what most clocks used to function but it’s got a weight which makes minutes go slower which makes them more accurate and if you remove weight goes faster.

Robert Boyle was born sometime in the 17th century in England a few years after the 30 year war. He is important because he was a big part of the invisible college which became the Royal academy which still exists today and has done quite a few cool things! like he discovered Atoms while teaching there and studying.

And that’s it!

RPC History Lesson 110

Hello! Here is what mr.Livingston told me to do today: Summarize each of the inventions you studied this week and how they impacted history. Also, explain the most interesting thing you learned this week, and why.

The four inventions I learned about (and one inventor) are : the Mersenne’s laws, the Cartesian Coordinates, the Mechanical calculator, and Blaise Pascal.

Mersenne’s laws are laws describing the frequency of oscillation of a stretched string or monochord, useful in musical tuning and musical instrument construction. The equation was first proposed by French mathematician and music theorist Marin Mersenne in his 1637 work Traité de l’harmonie universelle.

The coordinate system we commonly use is called the Cartesian system, after the French mathematician René Descartes (1596-1650), who developed it in the 17th century. Legend has it that Descartes, who liked to stay in bed until late, was watching a fly on the ceiling from his bed!

The 17th century marked the beginning of the history of mechanical calculators, as it saw the invention of its first machines, including Pascal’s calculator, in 1642. Blaise Pascal had invented a machine which he presented as being able to perform computations that were previously thought to be only humanly possible.

Blaise Pascal was a French philosopher, mathematician, scientist, inventor, and theologian. In mathematics, he was an early pioneer in the fields of game theory and probability theory. In philosophy he was an early pioneer in existentialism. As a writer on theology and religion he was a defender of Christianity.

And that’s it!

RPC History Lesson 105

Hello! Here is what Mr.Livingston wanted me to do today: Summarize each of the inventions you studied this week and how they impacted history.

So here is the essay!

I learned about Johannes Kepler, Galileo Galilei, The Slide Rule, and John Napier.

Johannes Kepler was born on December 27, 1571, in Weil der Stadt, Württemberg, in the Holy Roman Empire of German Nationality. He was a sickly child and his parents were poor. But his evident intelligence earned him a scholarship to the University of Tübingen to study for the Lutheran ministry. He became very interested in astronomy when his professor encouraged him.

Galileo Galilei was born in Pisa in 1564, the first of six children of Vincenzo Galilei, a musician and scholar. In 1581 he entered the University of Pisa at age 16 to study medicine, but was soon sidetracked by mathematics. He left without finishing his degree. Galileo was best known for all of his time spent through a telescope that caused him to make plenty of discoveries. Like he discovered the moons orbiting Jupiter.

The slide rule was invented around 1620–1630, shortly after John Napier’s publication of the concept of the logarithm. In 1620 Edmund Gunter of Oxford developed a calculating device with a single logarithmic scale; with additional measuring tools it could be used to multiply and divide.

John Napier, Napier also spelled Neper, born 1550, Merchiston Castle, near Edinburgh, Scotland died April 4, 1617, Merchiston Castle, Scottish mathematician and theological writer who originated the concept of logarithms as a mathematical device to aid in calculations. logarithms also spared a lot of time to people who used this invention to multiply.

Hello! Here is what Mrs.Fish wants me to do today: Writing Assignment: Write one paragraph on the following topic: What is your dream job? Here is the essay!

My dream job is to be worlds biggest farmer, and Ièm already on course as I just bought my first tractor a Farmall SW4 and a W4 to go with for parts. Worlds biggest farm is 22,500,000 acres which is the Mudanjiang City Mega Farm in Heilongjiang, China. Canada is 89 million acres and to be worlds biggest farm but live in canada still i’d rather need to move to Alberta, or south Ontario as where I live right now is in northern Ontario there is to many rocks and big forest with a lot of rocks so it would cost of fortune to buy the land let alone clearing it. So it would be better to move down south or to Alberta where some of my other family lives to be worlds biggest farm.

Worlds biggest tractor is the Big Bud 747 at 1100HP but by the time I own worlds biggest farm il be dead, or everything will be run by robots unless you stick to the tractors of today and the past. My dads biggest tractor ever was the Kubota M110X at 110 horsepower, my grandpas biggest tractor he ever owned was the Massey Ferguson 7490 at 140HP, and my uncle Jerry’s biggest tractor is a CASE IH STX 480 wich has 480 horsepower.

Here are some pictures of the tractors I mentioned.

The History Of Massey Ferguson

Hello! As an essay idea I came up with myself today I am going to write about the history of Massey Ferguson! Here it is!

The originale company was named Massey Harris founded in 1847 by Daniel Massey.

In 1911 Ferguson tractors was founded by Harry Ferguson who was the first Irishman to build his own plain and fly it.

Here are some Massey Harris tractor pictures.

Here are some ferguson pictures.

In 1953 Massey Harris and Fergusson forget to create Massey Ferguson.

My grandpa is a big fan of Massey Ferguson and we used to be two. Over the years my grandpa has had a lot of Massey Ferguson tractors. My dad’s first tractor was a Massey Ferguson 270. When we first got in to the dairy goat business seven years ago my grandpa was retiring from the farm so we bought his old Massey Ferguson 6180, his old snow blower, rake and a few more pieces of farm equipment. But sadly know we don’t do dairy goats any more. We also had a Massey Ferguson 3090 awhile ago two but we sold it. Sme thing happened with the 6180. I don’t have any pictures of the 3090 that know of but a while ago the 3090 got stuck and I learned how to drive a tractor for the first time while dad tried to pull out the 3090 but the 6180 so we called our neighbor Ernest and he brought his biggest Massey and pulled us out Ernest is a very big Massey Ferguson fan. I have a picture of the 6180 ploughing a field so we can tile it.

In 1993 Massey Ferguson was bought by AGCO at one point AGCO used Massey Ferguson technology to make their tractors but then eventually stopped making AGCO tractors around 2010.

That’s it!

Hello! Today mrs.Fish wanted me to: Write a final draft of your essay on the following topic: What is the best birthday present you ever received?

Here it is:

The best birthday present i’ve ever received would be my little cousin Jacques. Jacques was born April the 27th 2017 (which was the same year I broke my leg). Jacques birthday is three days before mine and I was born on the 30th of April 2008. Jacques is very funny at times like on his first birthday he came over for a party at our house me him and my dad each got a seperate cake (me and my dad share the same birthday). Jacques cake was a chocolate cake with blue icing, dad’s was a chocolate cake with caramel in the middle, and mine was an ice cream cake. When Jacques blough out his candles he started eating the cake right away with his hands and of course got some on his face and hair. Then when he finished eating his cake he looked like a Smurf!

Now Jacques is really in the farm things like tractors and farm animals. Him and the rest of his family just moved in last year to the new home they built in the bush it’s really cool! my uncle has a lawn tractor but since they don’t have lawn yet they don’t have much to do with yet so one day my uncle thought Jacques how to drive the lawn tractor and now he can drive it by himself! And 5 or six visits before the house was built during the winter he came over and he was able to drive the M110X by himself! and he was only 2 years old back then! And the M110X is a pretty big tractor for a little guy like him!

That’s it!

The End.

RPC History 4 Lesson 100

Hello! Today Mr.Livingston wanted me to do this: Summarize each of the inventions you studied this week and how they impacted history. Also, explain the most interesting thing you learned this week, and why.

The three inventions and one inventor I learned about where: The Compound Microscope, William Gilbert, The Newspaper, and the Telescope.

The Compound Microscope. Sometime about the year 1590, two Dutch spectacle makers, Zaccharias Janssen and his father Hans started experimenting with these lenses. They put several lenses in a tube and made a very important discovery. … They had just invented the compound microscope (which is a microscope that uses two or more lenses).

William Gilbert. William Gilbert (1544-1603) was an English scientist and physician who is credited by many as the “father of electricity and magnetism”. Born on May 24, 1544 into an affluent family in Colchester, Essex, Gilbert attended Cambridge University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 1561.

The Newspaper. Newspapers Worldwide. One of the earliest publications that could be described as a daily newspaper appeared in Rome around 69 B.C. It was a primitive news sheet called Acta Diurna (acts of the day) and described the activities of the Roman Senate. Another early newspaper appeared in the Germanic states of the 1500s.

The Telescope.

The telescope was first patented in 1608 Dutch eyeglass maker Hans Lippershey (or Lipperhey) is widely credited as the first person to patent a telescope in 1608. His device, called a kijker (“looker”), was, according to Hans, able to magnify an image up to three times.

The History Of Versatile

Hello! Today I am going to write about the history of Versatile… Here it is!

The first tractor they made was the D100 in 1966 but that was not the beginning of Versatile.

Versatile started in 1947 but only made tillage equipment until 1966. In 1966 they started to build the Versatile D100 which has 100HP.

In 1967 they started to build the G125 which had 125HP.

In 1969 they started building the 118, 125, and 145 models, which had 118, 125, and 145HP.

In 1973 they started building the 700, 800, 850, and 900. My Uncle Jerry had a Versatile 900 a few months back. The 700 had 220 hp, the 800 had 250 hp, the 850 had 280 hp, and the 900 had 300 hp.

Uncle Jerry’s Versatile 900

In 1977 they built the Big Roy which had 600hp but was too big in its time so it was cancelled.

In 1989 Ford bought Versatile. The first Ford Versatile built was the 846 built from 1989 to 1993, which had 230hp.

In 2000 Buhler bought Versatile from Ford and made the Buhler Versatile 2425 and some other tractors. The 2425 has 425hp.

In 2008 (the year I was born) Versatile bought Versatile from Buhler, and Versatile made the Versatile 400 and three other smaller tractors. The 400 has 400hp

In 2016 Versatile changed its colors to red, black, and yellow. They made the 550 and other very large tractors. The 550 has 550HP.

In 2017 they returned to their official 1966 heritage colors but added black. This year they made the models: 380, 400, 430, 460, 520, 570, 610. The 610 has 610 HP.

In 2019 Versatile started making the Nemesis series and also got hired by Kubota to start the M8 series.

Versatile Nemesis 195 has 195HP
The Kubota M8-211 which has 210hp

My favorite tractor from this essay would be the M8-211 but since it has to be a Versatile Il go with Uncle Jerry’s Versatile 900
